Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of the finance sector as well as crypto and Web3 in order to be a part of our team. The finance team is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the firm and regulating cash flow across all departments. Additionally, employees will be responsible for overseas accounts while at the same time maintaining focus on Indian clients. We are currently looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, including invoice booking, payments, income accruals and assistance in finalising the books of accounts timely. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with book-keeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. The responsibilities shall include providing accurate financial information while ensuring we are compliant with all tax regulations. Make a difference by, -Manage all accounting transactions -Support monthly, quarterly and annual closings -Reconcile accounts payable and receivable -Control and execute vendor payments -Compute taxes and prepare TDS and GST returns -Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements -Support in audit of financial transactions and documents -Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups -Comply with financial policies and regulations Job requirements -Work experience as an Accountant with an MNC or large Corporate in India -Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) -Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally -Advanced MS Excel skills -Experience with general ledger functions -Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills -Semi qualified CA (passed inter CA at least) or an MBA in Finance or Bachelor in Commerce, with an experience of 3 to 5 years
