Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a part-time Social Media Specialist to join our team. This is a remote role (PST is preferred) and we are looking for someone who can dedicate approximately 20 hours each week for a 6 month minimum contract. What You’ll Be Responsible For: -Growing our social media presence and maximizing both brand awareness and the reach of Nori’s content while engaging our community -Curating, synthesizing, and remixing the strongest parts of both forthcoming and existing content into new, digestible, optimized-for-sharing formats -Writing social media posts, Twitter threads, and more in the Nori brand voice -Regular posting across social media accounts in accordance with our social media strategy -Responding to comments from our community members on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, in accordance with our guidelines -Tracking results of experiments as well as key KPIs for each account -Collaborating cross-functionally with a diverse mix of teams, balancing the needs of stakeholders and always seeking opportunities to elevate the work and craft of visual communication -Ensuring all content aligns with Nori’s brand, tone, and style as defined by Nori’s brand style guide -Examples of Content You’ll Amplify -Podcasts -Blog posts -Company updates -Upcoming online community events, like Twitter spaces and Discord AMAs -Upcoming events, like conferences and happy hours -Nori features from other publications and partners Who We’re Looking For: -Must-haves -2+ years of experience as a social media specialist -Shareable case studies or examples of accounts you’ve managed -Experience with Hubspot or another social media management tool, like Buffer or Later -Excellent communication skills -Excellent collaboration skills -A passion for reversing climate change Nice-to-haves -Copywriting experience -Proficiency or familiarity with Figma -A modern sense of visual aesthetics and a sharp eye for detail -Experience working in the web3, climate, and/or carbon removal space -Experience with two-sided marketplaces -Experience working in a startup environment Logistics -This is a 6+ month remote contract role. -The pay for this role is $33-40/hr depending on experience and you are expected to work 20 hours per week.
